My last visit the dance floor so crowded I ended up being pushed time and again through fabric rail fence slightly then warned by bouncer three times no fault of my own. Bar tenders great service, drinks above average pricing. The Shrine is two levels dance floor level 1, above the dance floor dinning upstairs open middle to view dance floor ,impressive at first.Highlights depending on DJs music mix of pop, hip hop w a techno twang ,crowd mostly nice well dressed young individuals celebrating life on the crowded dance floor. I am a 90s club dancer and there really aren't many good clubs in CT. Would I go again? TONS of bachelorette parties were ems to be the go-to destination and party spot for them which was cool. maybe 20+ girls waiting impatiently at all times. The line to the woman's room was ridiculously long, ie. The club itself was much smaller than I pictured in my head, but we had fun dancing all night long. She did bring out the champagne with the sparkler attached (all VIP tables had this) It didn't seem as dangerous as the other reviewer had mentioned previously. The waitress was extremely attentive to us, constantly making us drinks at our table. We had a cute corner circle table to chill out in which was ideal for us girls. (I think they also charged for the mixers.ie, diet coke, red bull, etc)

It cost $800 for a bottle on Bacardi, Absolute and the club gave us a bottle of champagne as a promotion thing. We had VIP bottle service(which was a first for me). I was with a group of 9 nine other girls for my friends bachelorette party and we went here on Saturday night.
